Dear Loving American

PLEASE Salute and Support Veterans Now. There are many solutions to our Great Nation’s economic woes.

God helps those who help themselves!

Americans can refuse to continue accepting a reactive declining economic status that is characterized by:

(A). Daily forced participation in the Las Vegas Casino styled “roulette” action at the gasoline pump;

(B). Watching thousands of badly needed and good paying .American manufacturing and service jobs disappear to foreign labor markets overseas who get paid slave wages;

(C). Seeing our life long and stable American neighborhoods transformed and destroyed, due to foreclosure actions;

(D). From a more personal perspective, our Director, here at SALUTE VETERANS NOW,INC, Mr. Walter Sutton Jr, a Vietnam Era Veteran has lost 60 lbs through the Veteran’s Administration’s Hospitals “MOVE” Weight Loss Program, as gift to himself, in anticipation and celebration,. Of his birthday on August 16, 2008. For him this weight loss he attained through The “MOVE” weight Loss Program is the fulfillment of a life long dream of his. He planned on re-living some of his experiences of youth by continuing horseback riding lessons he first began as a youth in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, New York. He had thought that he might be able to live out the experience of riding the Budweiser Clydesdale horses that he had come to know as a part of the American Dream. Mr. Suttons thought the Clydesdale horses were perfect for him to ride comfortably because he, too, is a giant – among men. Unfortunately, the corporate greed of Anheuser-Busch Breweries to unpatriotically take the money (billions) and run to another country is terrible. The giant Clydesdale horses have disappeared, the only ones that Mr. Sutton thought that he could comfortably fit on (smile). There they are marching in unison off to the country of Belgium. They are accompanied by the well loved Dalmatian dogs. The Dalmatians sat atop the former Anheuser-Busch coaches. I see them in tears wagging their tails for the last time as American Dalmatians. It is a very big irony that right now America is overlooking a major part of our economic recovery solution. The solution is in saluting and supporting American veterans and troops.

Our director, Mr. Walter Sutton Jr., a dedicated patriot and former police officer has shared with our organization the essential actions of undercover police work to successfully fight crime. America has embarrassingly allowed its valiant veterans to remain in an undercover status for decades.

In July, American Unity Month, “SALUTE VETERANS NOW” is asking our great nation to no longer accept veterans in an undercover and forgotten capacity.

Please, perform this patriotic action upon reading this correspondence.. Read it thoroughly. Consider it, then salute the first person you encounter. Explain clearly to any questioner that the salute is in honor of American Veterans and Troops everywhere.

SALUTE VETERANS NOW, INC.

a nonprofit veterans organization, is launching a nationwide effort code named “UNITY AMERICA 2008”. This initiatives very first project is getting our congress to officially declare and the president to sign a Bill making July “American Unity Month”. When Dante Fascell was our congressional representative he worked closely with me and our organization to establish this observance.  We already have multiple designated observances that tend to divide the nation, I am asking patriotic Americans, who are concerned about the direction that our country is heading in, to join our efforts. It has been easy in the body politic to divide our nation. We now need solutions, events and cultural observances to foster unity among our people. After all we are the United States of America, which actually means that we are the United peoples of America and that is how we ought to start to see ourselves and not as a collection of unconnected races, religions, cultures, classes, and interests. Please write your congressmen and contribute to our efforts so that we may accomplish these goals and to start to retake our country back from the special interests that are dividing us.

Please join me, Walter Sutton Jr, founder of non-profit organization,

SALUTE VETERANS NOW, INC.

, in our new project “UNITY AMERICA 2008”. This national project is just what our great country needs to revitalize our many diverse communities and uplift our national spirit. Our group is proclaiming the month of July as “American Unity Month” as a yearly celebration of our peoples’ diversity, national pride, patriotism, and community unity.

This celebration is already real as it started in my America loving heart and mind many years ago. On July 23, 1992, Congressman Dante Fascell of Florida at my initiative entered “American Unity Month” into the Congressional record. Even though this celebration was initiated many years ago it kind of fell by the wayside. We can revitalize it and this celebration can be a part of your life too, simply by joining my efforts to make “UNITY AMERICA 2008” and “American Unity Month” a national reality. Remember America is a country that is “…of the people, by the people, and for the people…”(Smile).

I have already contacted many national and local elected officials, captains of industry, other veterans groups and everyday Americans to enlist their support and join my efforts. The list of national luminaries that I have solicited for support of my efforts includes President Bush, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Senator Barack Obama, Senator John McCain, Senator Hillary Clinton, Senator Bill Nelson, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Congressman Kendrick Meek and many others.

Again I beseech you to join and support these efforts to make “UNITY AMERICA 2008” and “American Unity Month” a national reality. We really need your support. America is “The Land of The Free and the Home of the Brave”.

In 2008, is America the greatest country in the history of the world experiencing mass amnesia? I am not a psychiatrist or social psychologist or even a political scientist. I am a trained observer with extensive experience as an observer and analyst of human conduct and as a nation the American people seem to have lost their way.

America’s profound greatness is being challenged on a daily basis. Are we regrettably allowing ourselves to become our own enemy from within?

As proud Americans we can never forget the “exhilarating concept” that America is “The Land of Opportunity”. This is the genuine reality that is proven 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no other place in the world, where the opportunities that abound in America are available to the common man. As a proud loyal American, I choose not to overlook our great historic accomplishments and the future potential of America.

I really believe that America can be positively impacted from my house to the White House. (Smile) I am asking Americans from all walks of life, who love and care about this country to immediately join my efforts.
